The Department of Medicine's Section of Hospital Medicine at The University of Chicago has opportunities for well-trained internists to join our dynamic academic hospitalist pr! ogram. We seek full-time clinical associates who will provide patient care directly and supervise our residents and medical students with the opportunity to pursue academic activities within the Medical Center and University. We have nationally recognized programs in research and education that build on collaborations throughout the University and are active in clinical operations and quality improvement in the Medical Center.
Direct patient care responsibilities include managing patients with complex subspecialty needs and involve night and weekend coverage. Excellent clinical judgment and teaching skills are essential. Candidates must have a medical degree, be BC/BE in Internal Medicine and eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
