We are now looking for an Area Controller for a 1 year temporary position to our team in our Support Office in Oslo.
As a Central Area Controller, you work close to the core of our business – Our Stores. Your main objective is to drive sales and profitability growth in your area, covering approximately 25 stores. In your role, you lead with vision and develop the salesmanship and profitability mindset of our store managers, area teams and support functions.
You will be a part of Central Controller Team based at Support office in Oslo, with close collaboration and responsibilities towards your area. Together with the Area Team you are responsible for reaching our country goals by securing the store operations, driving selling, and improving the customer service in your Area. Your main responsibilities include:
- Increase selling: Together with your Area Team you ensure strong Commercial Execution in stores. You Identify business opportunities and set actions plans to improve the performance of your area. You always follow up on your actions by using commercial KPI's. You work with monthly Profit & Loss analysis and work proactively with Forecasting of selling and salary cost.
- Planning & Scheduling: You are responsible for securing the scheduling, and best practice processes that effect the customer and our colleague experience. Together with the Store Manager you set the function plan for the stores and the desired contract structure in line with the country goals.
- Securing Operations: You educate store teams on operational best practices to ensure that the setup of the store is optimized to deliver great customer experience and high task efficiency.
- Cost control: You budget, plan & resources wisely and invest where you see potential. You follow up and act on Salary Cost development in your area. You monitor Shop Costs together with relevant functions and you initiate actions when needed.
- Leadership: Acting as a leader with a strong analytical focus and knowledge-based approach; you support stores and the area team to enable great teams from a controlling perspective. You coach our colleagues on how to identify selling opportunities and take actions to improve the customer experience. You are the profit coach within your area and secure the knowledge among all stakeholders. You identify and develop controlling talents to secure succession within the market.
