HOSPITALIST OPPORTUNITY SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY - SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS The Department of Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine seeks an additional board c! ertified/board eligible Internist for their Hospitalist program. In this position, you will join a well-established group of 12 hospitalists who have a strong academic and clinical service at Memorial Medical Center and St. John's Hospital. Positions offer a competitive salary and academic hospitalist schedule, along with a full and comprehensive benefits package (including five weeks of vacation, CME, and an academic allotment).
Faculty appointment is determined upon experience and track record. Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is located in Springfield, the state capital. With a service are of 500,000 in central Illinois, Springfield accounts for more than 25 percent of the population.
