Carle Physician Group is seeking a full-time BE/BC Geriatrician in Urbana, Illinois to join an established department. With 350 physicians comprising 50 specialties/subspecia! lties and a service area of 1.5 million residents, Carle Physician Group is locally owned and physician led. Our organization is part of a not-for-profit integrated network of healthcare services that includes Carle Foundation Hospital, a 345-bed Level I Trauma Center with Level III perinatal services, which was named as one of the nation†s 100 Top Hospitals® by Thomson Reuters. Details regarding this position include: •Primary responsibilities include nursing home coverage and ambulatory clinic•Planned clinic schedule is Monday † Friday from 8:00 a.m.

† 5:00 p.m. •Provide services in sub-acute and rehabilitation•Join four Geriatricians along with 6 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Geriatric fellows, and full-time nursing staff•There are 16 Adult Hospitalists and 2 Geriatric Hospitalists to assist with hospital admissions•Hospital practice is not required•Physician will be on call for their nursing home patients Monday-Friday; and take call 1 in 1! 0 weekdays/weekends for Geriatrics service call (for ambulator! y clinic patients)•Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the University of Illinois School of MedicineOur main campus is located in Champaign-Urbana, a diverse community of 195,000 residents, and home to the Big-Ten University of IllinoisChampaign-Urbana is located 3 hours from St. Louis and 2 hours from Chicago & Indianapolis
