Description: Alivio Medical Center is presently looking of Internist right now, this vacancy will be reside in Illinois. The Internal Medicine Physician is directly responsible for performing and recording patient health history, patient examination and diagnosis, recommendations of medical treatment, rendering of on-site treatment and! hospitalization services as necessary. The physician is also responsible for appropriate documentation in the patient chart.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
 Manages patient medical care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
 Maintains appropriate documentation on patient clinical records
 Participates in Alivio Medical Center’s Quality Assurance activities and clinical committees as assigned
 Assists in the establishment of appropriate fee schedule, expense budgets, and programs plans
 Assists in marketing and public relations, including recruitment of providers as needed
 Maintains weekly office hours as negotiated in Principles of Practice including evening and Saturday hours, as required
 Participates in continuing medical education to meet standards of retaining license and Board Certification
 Participates in team conferences, health edu! cation, staff meetings, and committees as needed
 ! Performs other job related duties as assigned
All sites are approved for the National Health Service Corps loan repayment program. Mandatory Job Qualifications
Bilingual - English/Spanish
Graduate of Accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy.
Completion of Accredited residency program.
Board certification in specialty or board-eligible (within the allowable period of time post-graduation).
Unrestricted license to practice within Illinois.
Current DEA certificate.
Three to five years experience in a community health center.
Knowledge of information system, managed care and financial operation
ACLS certification. (CPR)
Desired Qualifications
Previous experience in a community health care setting a plus.
