Job Description:
Position is with Medical Hills Internists working primarily with William Ray, M.D. Provides continuity of quality patient care within clinic in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team and the physician who provides direction and support in the achievement and monitoring of identified patient care and outcomes for the defined patient practice population. To support the clinical and management leadership role by participating in direct supervision of daily operations including the clinic flow, and enhancement of the quality of patient care. Presents self as a nurse/patient advocate, mentor and leader both in person and on the phone. ! Accountabilities: 1. Assist patients with procedures,dispensin! g medication, handling phone calls and coordinating schedules.Functions as a liaison between patients staff and physicians. 2. Maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information to EMR. Posts tests and examination results. 3. Develops an environment within the practice that supports management philosophy, clinic strategic plans. 4. Assists in improvement measures and techniques that enhance the continued improvement of patient care. Faciliates innovation to maximize excellence and build efficency. 5. Accountable for the overall cost containment and business growth initiatives as it relates to their position and a given practice. 6. Saturday morning clinic - 4 times a year required.
